Reaching us by Car

Slindon lies on the A29 just north of its junction with the main A27 east-west south coast road. The best way to reach us from London is via the A3, turning off at Milford and thence via Petworth.

Bus Services

Slindon has its own village bus, run by village volunteers. On every weekday except Friday, you can take the bus to one of several local shopping centres. If anyone fancies volunteering to DRIVE the village bus, call Peter Lewis on 814548.

Compass run a weekly bus, route number 71 which actually runs through Slindon to Chichester and back on Wednesday mornings (market day) – click below to view timetable

Rail Connections

Our nearest stations are Arundel and Barnham. Direct services are available to London Victoria via Gatwick Airport and to numerous destinations along the south coast. Further information

Airports

Gatwick and Southampton airports are both within a one hour drive of Slindon.

Ferries

From Portsmouth, ferries are available to France, Spain and the Isle of Wight. During the summer, a fast catamaran service is operated to Cherbourg by Brittany Ferries.
