The Spur is our local inn, situated on the A.29, just past the turning to Shellbridge Road. The family owned Spur dates back to the 17th century. Extensively refurbished over the past 15 years, it retains a cosy and welcoming atmosphere with log fires in the winter and beautiful large gardens for warm summer days. It also has a skittle alley. It is open from 11.30am to 3.00 pm and 6.00 pm to 11.00 pm Monday to Saturday, and from 12.00 to 10.30 pm on Sunday. 01243 814216
