Saturday 24th September at 7.30pm
Join us to celebrate past and present writers who have made notable contributions to village cultural life and beyond.
None is more famous than Hilaire Belloc, a prolific writer and lover of Slindon and Sussex and we are delighted that his grandson, Charlie Eustace, will be reading passages from his works.
Local Icons, Jimmy Dean and Josephine Duggan Rees will feature as well as that remarkable couple from recent times, David and Betty Beaty, from living writer David Haycock author of Crisis of Brilliance and with a touch of cricket of course from Michael Marshall.
Musical Interludes, with many a nod to Sussex, will be provided by the local folk group Cotillion.
Tickets are £10 each
