Swimming Pool Open at Slindon College

The open air (heated) swimming pool at Slindon College will be open to villagers during the summer holidays on the dates listed below. No need to book just turn up. Children of primary school age must be accompanied by an adult.  A trained lifeguard will be on duty for all sessions.

Mon19th August                 10.00 – 11.30am

Wed 21st  August                  2.30 – 4.00pm

Thurs 22nd  August             2.30 –  4.00pm   

Tues 27th  August                 10.00 – 11.30pm

Wed 28th  August                 2.30 – 4.00pm

Thurs 29th  August              10.00 – 11.30pm

Friday 30th  August                  2.30 – 4.00pm

Fee is £3 for a school age child for the first swim and thereafter this one ticket can be used for as many of the sessions as the child would like to attend.  

Adults are welcome to attend the sessions to swim or supervise young children in the pool.  Over 18’s not supervising small children the fee is £3 per session. 

The fee is a contribution toward the cost of the lifeguard Sandy Monk who will be in attendance for all sessions. Sandy is a teacher at the College.

You should arrive ready to swim and bring a towel to dry off afterwards as there are no changing rooms.  There are toilet facilities at the college.  

There is a safety limit of 20 children or adults in the pool at one time and if this situation occurs we will ask people to take turns in the pool.
